ISCD is an Australian leader in Interior Design that trains digital-savvy designers with courses in colour theory, AutoCAD, and commercial design and prepares them for successful careers.

  • In order to attract new students, the school decided to make webinars a key part of its lead generation strategy, using organic and paid channels to promote these online events.

  • Each month, ISCD hosts webinars featuring experts, educators, and students, sharing personal insights and real-life success stories.

    To attract registrations to these online events, they run social ads on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest, where their target audience is most active.

  • ISCD's target audience is predominantly women (90%). Fashion-savvy, colour enthusiasts who love creating harmonious spaces. Many are reinventing themselves, often after dedicating time to being mums. They are ready for a career change that can transform their passion for design into a thriving business.

These social ads were meticulously designed to appeal directly to interior designers and enthusiasts. Every element, from the colour schemes and wording to the frame designs and music, was carefully selected to resonate with individuals passionate about colour, aesthetics, furniture, spatial design, and home decor.

We aimed to craft visually engaging and emotionally compelling ads, to ensure they were not only striking but also concise and effective. By blending appealing visuals with targeted messaging, I aimed to capture the attention of our audience quickly and convey our key messages with clarity, ultimately driving higher engagement and interest.

Static Social Ads

To maintain a cohesive brand presence, we also created static posts for use across other channels, including email, blogs, and organic social media. This ensured our monthly campaigns looked unified, making our messaging seamlessly integrated and reinforcing our brand identity across platforms.

Impact

ISCD needed to scale online events as a middle-funnel consideration channel to engage prospective students. I led the creation of highly targeted social media ads aimed at interior design enthusiasts, using them to drive awareness and engagement for our online webinars, which highlighted the school’s offerings. I developed a structured approach to creating bespoke ad creatives, aligning them with key brand cycles, trending topics, and insights from live chats.

This strategy led to significant improvements in registration rates, with a 168% increase in March and a 205% rise in April 2024. By maintaining consistent messaging and repurposing content across all platforms, the ads successfully maximized the reach and enhanced the effectiveness of our video content.
